Police have reportedly arrested seven people as investigations continue into the mysterious death of Moses, a chef who worked at Pastor Samuel Kakande’s church in Kubiri, near Mulago in Kampala.Moses died on October 1, 2026, and was buried in Mayuge District three days later. However, questions surrounding his death prompted his relatives to seek police intervention.On October 5, his brother reportedly returned to Kampala and requested an investigation, leading to the opening of a General Inquiry File at Wandegeya Police Station. Preliminary findings reportedly suggest that Moses may have slipped and fallen into a lift shaft while the lift was moving upwards. Reports further indicate that the lift may have struck his head, although the exact circumstances remain under investigation. Questions have also emerged about how his body was handled after the incident, with reports indicating that it was taken to Mulago City Mortuary without a corresponding police case being registered at the time.
