genuine question because this hit close to home for me,what if you opened the window because the wind kept showing you it was gentle? i recently let someone very close to me because they repeatedly told me i was important to them,that they loved what we had and that i was safe with them,then one mistake from me completely changed how they treated the connection i understand that i chose to trust them and there are lessons i can take from that,but i struggle with the “you only have yourself to blame” part isn't there a difference between taking responsibility for who we let into our lives and blaming ourselves for what another person chooses to do once they're inside?
