my mom and dad‘s whole house was full of 9 x 9 asbestos tiles and Mom and I ironed every tile to get the tar to release as long as you don’t break the tiles and you don’t have dust from the tiles

Leave the ugly carpet down. Freaking asbestos tiles🙄 I have some too in my basement...covered by carpet.
