Use a scan tool and watch your torque converter lock up when it’s plugged into the hallway. May have a tuning issue with the transmission tune.

One of my buddies just had the same experience on a K 10 built and the plug-in on the transmission was in backwards. I think you can plug them in backwards….. was doing the exact same thing.

Sounds like something is telling the torque converter to in lockup. 4L80E has an electronic torque converter clutch (TCC) lockup . check for Faulty/Misadjusted Brake Switch ,Bad/Corrupted Tune / Speed Sensor or even Bad Ground / Shorted Control Wire.

sounds like the problem is definitely the transmission are you sure you have the right transmission in there if you programmed it for a different one it will not work

What transfer case is there a speed sensor I have a ls2 and 4l65 in my cj8 corvette ecu and trans controller. Mine has a Novak adapter to the dana 300 which has a speed sensor.
