Still need to work on singing and playing… I record in pieces and piano is the one instrument where I can normally just do a couple of takes. But bass takes me forever sometimes. So I think deliberately about each passage, hear it in my head and then hit record. Sometimes hundred of times lol… Want to start recording on tape which will force me into that. Modern tech is a double edged sword. It makes us soft and reliant but also increases productivity. For example I can record 300 takes and pick the best parts from each for 0 cost. Tape forces you to get it right the first few times because tape cost money! It’s a more deliberate process and im interested in that. And it just sounds better 🤤 Anyway… go presave the EP!
