I've had my byd shark for 18 months now and 36k on the clock I've been off-road and on the beach massive power when you need it 👌 it is amazing and BYD listen we have had multiple updates with added off-road and towing features and twerking to other features . mine still drives like the day I got it and TSV byd is fantastic to deal with never had an issue from purchase to servicing . I'd buy another car from them anyday 👍

Legacy OEM'S have traditionally needed 5 years to get a concept to produce things meaning changes in tech can't be included mid-development. The Chinese have it down to 2 years meaning they can adapt to new tech much faster

I actually showed my husband this because of how much he didn’t like the new prado, he gave feedback to sales guy and he fully agreed… we own a 300, 79, work vehicle is a Fortuner, an ancient 80s cruiser for farm and a hilux for teenager… prados = shit

I stayed at a caravan park last week , all the Toyotas 200/300 had 30/40k of work done to them just to tow a medium size caravan around , not good.

Had a 2019 Prado - loved it- went to upgrade and hateeeeeee the new prados internally - so squishy and vision was rubbish. Look great outside but not worth the $93k price range.

I own a Toyota Yaris, had somebody run into me in March this year. Can’t get parts for them. Don’t know how long it will take to get them up to 6 months still waiting so disappointed.

Toyota have been relying on their nameplate for far too long now. They’ve allowed the competition to catch up and in some areas surpass them. Toyota really showed their fear of the future with the 300 series. The moment it was released it was dated.

I bought the VX and lasted 3 months before getting rid of it 😂 It drove like a tractor and was the most uncomfortable car I’ve ever owned. Ended up going with a Ford Platinum and was completely converted from Toyota to Ford!
