@classicmara: 8 days until I sail alone around the world. 😳 Today we cleaned. Or at least… we attempted to clean. I’ve basically moved out of Showgirl for now, which makes it much easier to take everything out, move things around and actually figure out what space I have. Is she clean? Not really. 😂 Did we manage to put some things in place and make space for everything that still needs to come onboard? Absolutely. And that’s the important part. I still have eight months of food to pack, plus an incredible amount of other stuff that somehow needs to fit inside this boat while still leaving enough room for me to actually live here. So Showgirl is getting a little rearrangement. Take everything out. See what space we actually have. Decide what goes where. Then somehow Tetris eight months of my life back inside. I was so focused on getting things done today that recording wasn’t really a priority. Sometimes the countdown looks exciting. Today it looked like piles of stuff everywhere. 😂 8 days. 🌍⛵
