The facility was part of the Endicott-Johnson industrial complex and supplied electricity to the surrounding area for decades. After its closure, the site remained largely unused and deteriorated over time. Environmental cleanup and asbestos removal became major concerns, and portions of the former power station were eventually demolished as part of the site’s redevelopment and cleanup efforts.#urbex
