Thanos will never be a villain to me, his message is correct. If life keeps growing, growing, growing, and growing eventually it will lead to extinction every. Single. Time. He lost his entire species because they refused to stop growing, refused to control their want to keep growing larger and eventually it collapsed which will always happen when one species uses up all the resources available.

I view thanos the same way I view viltrimites, saiyans and really any “authoritarian” society of people because just like them he was raised to have certain values, morals, principles, ideologies and ideals that heavily differ from what we as humans consider “normal” or “justified” such as planet conquering and colonizing. thanos literally only wanted true literal equality with everything split down the middle fairly. We know this because a good majority of his OWN army was snapped away in infinity war. Thanos wasn’t out to take over the world or the universe, he literally went into hiding and planned to I guess live out the rest of his days as a farmer because in his eyes, thru his own ideology HE’S the hero and the avengers are preventing true equality across the universe.
