The ECC in Ybor is a great resource for entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday at 9 am they hold a One Million Cups where you can pitch your business or listen to others pitch. Working Women of Tampa Bay is a women centered networking group. The Working Women Foundation gives seed money every year to a female owned business in business three years or less. There is an application process. The South Tampa Chamber is also good. I love the library as well and you can rent books and movies through the Libby and Kanopy apps with your library card.

I've had a business in Tampa for 16 years. Tampa needs more resources for entrepreneurship. A lot of resources are for established businesses. Like all things are it's about networking and who you know. Try Eventbrite for socials and workshops. I personally tapped into online resources.

USF has a program but their availability isn’t startup friendly and same for SCORE. Most score mentors are geared towards established business that are trying to grow.
