I had a 5 or 6 person friend group and 2 of them were Serbian so they always had a random second convo going with just themselves 😂 then got pissy when the english crew got into good gossip and they missed the first few minutes of it

me when I was on erasmus+ in Finland and the lecturer asked if everyone in the lecture hall was okay with him doing today’s lecture in finnish as an exception (the course was supposed to be led in english). I was THE ONLY PERSON who was, in fact, not okay with that suggestion 💔💔

I really don’t get why people think this is bad or you’re entitled or something. when I was an au pair i had friends all over the world, but when we were hang out my brazilian friends and a girl from poland we all talked english instead of portuguese because that’s just the nice thing to do? what are we gonna do, ignore that she’s there and talking in our language? that’s rude.
