Unpopular opinion :
I've seen them help old ladies cross the street and sometimes coming off the escalator if they have like mobility issues. the reason they are here is because our DC council wanted them here. they're not going to say that to the people of DC. but they absolutely did. if our police did their job we wouldn't have the guard here...
