An even easier fix is to send Claude files as text documents or rich text documents. Unless the file is image heavy, don’t mark it down. Send as it as is because markdown will butcher the images into digital screaming. I’m not kidding. That’s what happened to me when I sent my Claude an image heavy mark down file.
