the more infuriating part, to me, isn't that they are hypocritical, it's that nothing is done about it. nothing is ever done about anything! at best we get someone sitting being asked questions, which they either refuse to answer or lie about, and then nothing, nothing is done about what got them there and nothing is done about them lying

And in that decade, I've seen democrats far and wide call out that hypocrisy with absolutely no consequences attached to it. So it's a political dead end we're better off abandoning; these "gotcha" moments are insubstantial.
