China has some pretty well-designed robots, but they are small, not very imposing, and they give off a weak and fragile appearance. On top of that, they don’t even use autonomous AI on their robots, and they don’t have functional hands, or their hands are very underdeveloped compared to what Tesla and 1X have shown. The Unitree robots are proof of that. They are basically just controlled with a remote, they’re nothing more than toys that are incapable of doing anything actually useful. They are just robots made for entertainment. American robots, on the other hand, look more like us. They are bigger, heavier, and the build quality, cable management, and finishing are much better than on Chinese robots. On top of that, AI is actually being used with them. They are designed to perform real technical tasks, specifically adapted to our environment, and not just dance to entertain us.
