Watching this unfold has been so eerie to me…I had a relationship a couple years ago centered heavily around hard drug use where there was always a push for “more”. I ended the relationship by telling him “you’re killing yourself and I’m not gonna let you kill me too”. he was dead within 6 months of me leaving. I am sure that if I had stayed with him I would be gone too…

Abuse is often a slow process that sneaks into even the ‘strongest’ persons relationship. You don’t realise until it’s too late, and thats on purpose. Isolating women, not educating on forms of abuse and making us see victims as weak is part of the manipulation that society has allowed
