no, because you’re not TRULY living the relationship, you’re building it on WORDS rather than ACTIONS. and you CAN’T really live your life behind a SCREEN, so you’re essentially building future expectations on something that has no real foundation. this is especially true when it comes to real long-distance relationships, where daily interaction is more limited. it’s not about trust, but about actually knowing who you have by your side.

As someone currently experiencing this, long distance has shown us what we needed to work on to better our relationship/individual self. Although the distance is rough at times, it teaches us patience more than anything. And yes it’s worth it.
