Knowing how good cats senses are it could probably smell small or big differences between his dead owner and his twin which makes it even more sad kinda like seeing a dead friend but their voice is different

The cat literally looks like they're seeing a ghost 😭 cats are in fact nearsighted and struggle to tell the difference between faces and rely on motion, scent, posture and sound, BUT cats do tend to remember who took care of them the most, they build a "sensory profile" for you, and BECAUSE they struggle to see details up close especially when a glass is clearly between you, they can for a brief moment recognize the person they were once attached to if there is enough of a resemblance. This cat fully thought they were looking at their owner. The body language is completely paused, no raised fur or irritated tail, it's actually insane how much emotion the cat is displaying😭
