Not the operator asking him to put pressure on her neck and Patrick saying NO 😳

What gets me is when she told the story of what happened after being extubated and after being told what she supposedly did. She said she cut the screen in the window with the knife but the screen was never cut. So how can you take some of her “confession” as fact, but dismiss other parts of it as delirium when it doesn’t add up? Idk that’s what got me. There’s definitely reasonable doubt. Not saying she’s necessarily innocent, but the prosecution didn’t do a good job if she is guilty, in my opinion.

The lack of genuine investigation is what gets me.

The smoking gun for me was when readington explained that they hadn't tested the residue in the cup or really done any type of investigation.

“What did you do to your neck?” sounds incredibly off to me.

Wait, I just realized he ran up to her and didn’t ask what happened. Like did she slip n fall or ??? No he ran up and said what did you do? Accusatory. Not questioning. 🤨 like he knew before he “knew.”

Kevin Reddington said to “watch the evidence” in hisopening and closing statements. The jury is simply following his instructions. The evidence, or lack thereof, will reveal the truth.

they're going to hang as a jury. the prosecution did not prove who killed the kids unequivocally. they also didn't establish a clear premeditated motive for Lindsay. she didn't want out and was only unhappy she was failing.

You have to have evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. Not once did I hear of any evidence. Case closed.

I think a lot of trials have a “smoking gun” or pieces of evidence that stand out to the jury. I was a juror on a murder trial and ours was text messages back and forth between the 2 people minutes before the murder. Hard to say what it would be in Lindsay’s trial.. interesting that the jury asked to see the pill bottles and the knife because as a casual observer those don’t seem significant to me.

There are a number of things I would consider in this case at this point, and although it’s not evidence, him not being there any day since testimony or for a potential verdict, speaks volumes in my mind

The question in this trial is, Did the prosecution prove beyond a reasonable doubt that it is 1st degree murder (premeditated) or was she not criminally responsible because of a medical defect.

Well the jury won’t see this before they finish deliberating so while this may actually be a good suggestion, it’s unlikely to matter to the actual case

I get u….but looking at the people who are in that court on the stand is what helps me decide and ofc the evidence I see….if we took the 911 call at face value sure it makes Patrick look like a decent and sincere man but anyone can act on the phone….but then I see this man in person(and I was on this man side thinking he was innocent) and I think the opposite with how emotionless that man is and how he answered things…all aspects for any case needs to be reviewed and truly considered….a call tells me nothing really if I can’t see ur facial expressions and mannerisms.

Anyone can be an actor. I heard the 911 call was compelling but the actual scene of the murder and first responder testimony had me suspect.

tbh the mistrial should have been granted. The state seriously put an “expert” rebuttal witness on the stand to testify and he doesn’t even have an active license to practice in Massachusetts 🥴
