I wish I could switch to linux, But most of the games I play don't support linux (I've tried CachyOS, Bazzite, and some version of Arch a friend raves about). Maybe next year I can afford to update my current rig so I run debloated 11.

I'm sure vast majority of new games will run fine for at least another year. I don't play many taxing games/triple A releases, if at all so I'll probably be reet. After that I'll be switching to linux for gaming, dual booting windows for work 🤷♂️

For those who don’t want to use Linux. Look into Zorin. It works like windows, so you don’t have to relearn any new coding or file types. Plus it also runs a 99% of software that windows, Mac, and Linux can. It’s free, but you can get a pro version of it which helps out the developers for a pretty decent price.

currently on Windows 10. looks like I'll be trying Linux Mint (I tried cinnamon, I think, on distrosea. I liked the feel of it) once I can afford my own laptop or PC. the PC I currently use is a shared family PC, so Windows needs to stay there. :/

Ok so I use Windows 11 but it let me get rid of the AI stuff easy easy. what I'm frustrated with is all the search engines now giving me ai summaries instead of just giving me the damn results
