I have a theory so buddy heals when they hug him and he has a heart on his stomach, benny has a sun on him stomach so maybe he heals when he goes outside ,that's why buddy locked him in the well without sunlight, and bobby has a star whig probably means he comes out at night , and heals at night too , so that's why buddy ends the show every 22 minutes because he's scared bobby might come

I theorized the symbols on their bellies mean what they desire before they go rabid. The star for the Bobby could mean he feeds on fame, or he likes to be the center of attention! If no one were to bat an eye when he appears, he starts to go into a frantic. Benny could be that everyone needs to be UP and playful! The sun is usually about a brand new day to have fun, and Bobby would drain the kids of their energy every episode, if the kids are seen to be sleeping, sitting, or resting for too long, he starts to kill.

The theory goes that their bellies represent what they need to heal themselves/feed. They so for Buddy he needs love of the children while Benny needs the sun and why Boddy needs the night. It also explains why Benny is most likely the pony locked up in the basement as he’s taken away from his source of healing and why Buddy always stops the show before night time and the fact that the kids have never seen the night because of Bobby. People also think that Benny was only kept alive because he might have a secondary power of life that coincides with his sun healing. Which is why he’s forced to make puppets
