I get it. I was on a turn 9/11 and got stuck downline for four days with no clothes. I had only been flying two years and I was broke broke. The hotel would not take me to a nearby mall so I had to get a taxi two ways so I could buy underwear. The amount of $ I had to spend on food out of pocket was exorbitant. Not to mention how terrified we all were. I’ve had multiple trips since then get extended. As a senior mama who flies exclusively turns, I still bring my whole kit. Trauma.

I’ve seen FAs stick for 4 days in an unexpected snow storm that closed the airport. There were FAs who were getting food in the hotel in their uniforms all 4 days. 😂 I had PJs, clothes, etc. I was living my best life…prepared.
