i dont understand why having no evil means free will cant exist. the existence of free will is already highly disputed, but if we grant it, and even if no evil DID mean it cant exist, is god not powerful enough to make a world without evil but with free will? also how is free will and an all knowing god compatible?

You misunderstood his point. If he is all knowing and ALL POWERFUL, he would be able to create a world where free will exists and evil doesn’t. If you admit he can’t create this world, then he is not all powerful.
