There is nothing wrong with the ceiling. It was the installation. That's an easy fix for a handyman or electrician. ** Do Not Touch ** The line at the ceiling may be live.

I pray for you regularly, as you were on my prayer list, but somewhere I missed some information as to why you are possibly losing your home.
