anytime the navy "guarantees" you sleep your not getting it 😂. Im guaranteed 6 hours per the som, but Ive been up way past 36 to get the job done.

Weird that their ordnance, fuel and deck crews don’t get the same amount. Their performance also suffers at the same rate and could have disastrous consequences.

It's actually 12 hours crew rest.. The 8-Hour Rule Distinction: While 8 hours of continuous sleep (or sleep opportunity) is mandated within that 12-hour crew rest period, the total required protected time away from official duties to ensure proper fatigue mitigation is 12 hours.
