In China they have a system called a battery swap meaning, when your battery needs changing you simply pull up to a facility that jacks up the car and swaps the battery or a fully charged one, a process that is quicker than filling your tank. Your battery is then charged and used on another car. With a system like this the question of battery life is redundant.
