You inspired me to tell my story: I became my step-grandson’s Legal Guardian last year. My step-daughter (the mother) was no longer able to care for him. The father isn’t on the birth certificate. My step-grandson is black, Puerto Rican and white. I am white. I call him my grandson❤️. There may not be a drop of my blood in him, but I’ve loved him like he’s my own since the day he was born. He belongs here with us❤️
