@momma.nurse7: Motivation is great when you have it. 😂 But some days I work a long nursing day and come home tired. Some days family needs me. Some days I have absolutely zero desire to make a reel, learn something new, answer messages or do anything remotely productive. And those are the days that taught me the most about building a business. Because I don’t have to be fired up every single day. I just have to keep the promises I made to myself. Over the last almost nine months, I’ve built this business in real life. Around nursing. Around my family. Around busy seasons. Around really GOOD seasons. And around days when I simply wasn’t feeling it. I’ve learned when to push. I’ve learned when to adjust. And I’ve also learned when something in my life deserves my full attention and the business can wait. Discipline doesn’t mean your business comes before everything else. It means you know what you’re building, you know why you’re building it, and you don’t quit just because every day isn’t convenient. That’s a VERY different thing. And I’m proud of the way I’ve learned to do both. Because somewhere along the way I realized I didn’t have to choose. I can have a career I love AND build an online business of my own. You can have both.
