The era of having a “favorite AI” is ending. I think people are making a mistake when they ask whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or some new AI tool is “the best.” There is no best anymore. There’s the best tool for the job you’re doing right now. I use different AI for research, complex thinking, writing, coding, design, automation, and execution. And I change those choices constantly because the tools change constantly. This is why I think becoming a power user of ONE AI is becoming less valuable. The real skill is knowing how to route work. Which model should think through this problem? Which tool has the right context? Which one should research it? Which one should build it? Which one should critique the result?
