Porque sí, comprar un producto genérico normalmente es más rápido y sencillo… pero la impresión 3D tiene una ventaja enorme: puedes crear exactamente lo que necesitas. El tamaño correcto, la forma correcta, modificar una pieza, agregar una función o incluso diseñar algo para resolver un problema muy específico que probablemente no vas a encontrar en Amazon. Obviamente no todo vale la pena imprimirlo. Entre el tiempo de impresión, el material, encontrar o diseñar el modelo y alguna que otra impresión fallida, a veces comprar sigue siendo la mejor opción. Pero cuando necesitas algo hecho a tu medida, ahí es donde una impresora 3D empieza a tener muchísimo sentido. Debo admitir que si es más a tu gusto, pero el costo si es más alto, tiempo de modelado para cosas a medida, filamentos, horas de impresión, prueba y error, pero vale la pena tener una en casa 😎
