@s_stegs: A little bit about my little family! my husband and I are expecting our baby in March 2027. We are going to be first time parents! We’ve had a whirlwind of a year. In March this year a storm broke our fence & gate and we had to put up a new fence to fix everything. In early April I got a tire literally shot at me while on the highway and it shattered my windshield almost going completely through. In mid April we lost our Angel baby and then got stuck with a $1000 bill from the hospital. Then my husbands car died on us so he had to get a new one. Then from basically April till now we’ve been dealing with storms and storm damage and no power (we live in NWI) Thankfully we have power now but it’s just been such a year. Also a little bit about my husband. He is a firefighter. He works 24 hour shifts. Sometimes getting forced into 48 hour shifts. He also has started picking up extra shifts so we can give our baby the best start to their life. It would be so amazing if I could tell him that he didn’t have to work so much because things were bought off our registry. Hey, I’ve had my baby but in that time! My dad found out he had cancer, weeks later was admitted in the hospital and was in there for 2 long months and sadly has passed away and it’s been a stressful time since then.
