#creatorsearchinsights #goingthroughahardtime Not everything deserves your persistence. Somewhere along the way, we learned that persistence was a virtue. Don't quit. Try harder. Be patient. Be grateful. Nothing worth having comes easy. And so we persisted. In relationships that weren't working. In careers that no longer fulfilled us. In lives that looked perfectly fine on paper but felt increasingly wrong to the people living them. Because quitting meant failure. And failure meant we hadn't tried hard enough. But persistence without discernment isn't necessarily a virtue. Sometimes it's just self-abandonment with an impressive work ethic. We can become so committed to proving that we're capable of making something work that we forget to ask ourselves whether it's something we actually want. We throw more good years after bad ones. And when it still doesn't work? We blame ourselves. Maybe I need to be more patient. Less demanding. Maybe I just need to try harder. But what if you don't? What if the next level of growth isn't learning how to persist? What if it's learning how to discern what's actually worthy of your persistence? To recognize the difference between the discomfort of growing and the discomfort of betraying yourself. To trust that you might know something about your own life that no motivational quote, family expectation, or well-meaning piece of advice could possibly know. I'm not suggesting we abandon everything the moment it becomes difficult. I'm suggesting we stop confusing difficulty with evidence that something is worth pursuing. The question isn't always, "How do I make this work?" Sometimes it's, "Why am I still trying?" If you're a woman who knows you need support figuring out what's actually worth your persistence, DM me to schedule a complimentary consultation.
