@jessefunstuff: There was a time when I rushed every bedtime because I wasn’t managing my work related stress well. I’ve been doing my best to really soak in the bedtime moments lately. To me, this looks like laying down with Jay longer while Kat nurses Sarah to sleep. He asks me to make up songs about different topics he’s interested in like fishies, helicopters, and octopuses. I thought I didn’t have enough time because I was rushing to bed to get enough sleep for the next day. But now, I usually fall asleep next to Jay and get to my own bed at midnight after a two hour nap. It’s been fun, learning to be a present dad :) #pov #dadsoftiktok #toddlersoftiktok #family #baby
