As someone who had 10 amazing years with my last dog, a Weimaraner. Take the drugs as a win 🙈😂 Gun dogs can learn to settle but let’s be honest, they are crazy little clingy babies. Whilst I hated whatever the reason (usually ill) was for my girl to be on drugs, I knew I was about to get a big fat solid nap. She would always be out for most of the day & I use to get so much done in that time with time leftover to just sit quietly & have a rest too 🙈

Yes our Jimmy broke his toe on his back leg and we are only three weeks in,we have to drug him up otherwise it will never heal 🥺
