Pulling out their phone the second you start talking and the whole time they’re just going, “that’s crazy, wow” with 0 inflection in their voice bc they aren’t actually listening, and then they expect the opposite treatment when they open their mouth. 🙄

With an ex friend, I would begin a story about something that recently happened & not even 10 words into it she'd interrupt with a 40 minute story about herself to show "how she can relate". And no, she didn't ask me to finish what I wanted to say.

It’s because they really truly don’t care about anyone else but themselves! I’ve been guilty of doing it only because I want to make them feel like they’re not the only ones going through something! Such a bad habit!! I get bored but not of my own want but the ADHD like I’m sorry I cannot keep the story straight in my head lmao

My new coworker literally turned her chair back around to her computer when I started talking about my weekend after she spent 20 mins telling me about hers. I was so irritated I was like “did you just turn around in the middle of my story?” And she was like “oh my bad I really wasn’t trying to be rude” and I was like “WELL YOU ARE RUDE” and we sat in silence the rest of the shift 😭

Ooof this happened to me recently! There was a woman coworker of my bf and she was insistent on meeting me only to hardly ever letting me talk in our dinner and she didn’t ask almost anything about me and belt talking about herself and her own crazy stories . The dinner went for three hours long because if her nonstop talking. Then the next night comes and calls me “little girl” for not wanting to accept her controlled substances pills she wanted to offer people. Absolutely immature
