Happy 12th Birthday to my Raelynn Jane. 🤍 My first baby. The one who made me a mama. The girl who taught me a love I never knew existed. I truly don’t know how to put into words just how special this girl is. She is full of joy, radiates the best energy, and has a way of finding the good in just about everything. Her positive attitude, her love for Jesus, and her ability to take even the hardest situations and turn them into something beautiful are just a few of the things I admire most about her. I often jokingly call her my “practice kid,” because the truth is, when you have your first baby, you’re learning how to be a parent right alongside them. And goodness, has she taught me so much. About patience, about grace, about strength, and about seeing the good even when life doesn’t go as planned. I may be the one raising her, but she has helped shape me into the mama I am today. Raelynn Jane, I hope you never lose that beautiful light inside of you. Your heart, your faith, your kindness, and the way you love others are things I pray you carry with you forever. Today, we get to celebrate YOU at your favorite place, Disney World! 🏰✨ And this weekend, I get to watch you and your sister take the stage and dance in the parade. I truly couldn’t imagine a more perfect way to celebrate your birthday than watching you do what sets your soul on fire. Your passion. Your happy place. Dance. 🩰 Thank you for being the most wonderful big sister, an incredible daughter, and for making being your mama one of the greatest blessings of my life.
