From Kentucky my sister moved to fl and I hate it every time I come down!!! Why are there no hills anywhere? Why would you ever build on flat flat ground that instantly floods when there’s so much available land inland

Imagine moving from Florida to Arizona. I MISSED TREES. Something as simple as trees. Over there I felt so exposed at all times. No shrubbery or plants really since it’s basically a desert and was land locked. It was so weird. The only plus was that i could keep my windows open most of the time with no bugs which is pretty hard to do in Florida without a screen.

Girl I’m w you LOL 😭 Grew up in FL, was in VA for 8mo and I cried looking at the mountains and hills it was breathtaking. People rlly take that daily view for granted. Like I think ab this 7/11 a lot and it’s not even the biggest mountain I saw 😭

When my mom moved up here from lowndes county GA (bordering FL) she was constantly car sick !!! She was used to flat lands, so being here up in north GA she couldn’t handle all of the twists and turns. To this day she’s still sucks a passenger.

South Florida is a Ancient Coral reef from dinosaur times that storms would wash sand up onto, the oceans recessed exposing it. Millions of years later its believed that florida was also Delta like the Nile or Mississippi in Louisiana. Im from florida all the Stone in Florida underground is limestone covered in Seashell, and Coral imprints 100 feet underground.
