Your degree doesn’t say transfer. It’s the same exact degree whether your were there for 2 years or 4 years. A Berkeley grad is a Berkeley grad. If anything, transfers are smarter because they paid less to get the same exact degree as a 4 year student.

i HATE when ppl say this 😭 sure in comparison to the amount of freshman applicants but there’s still a limited amount of spots as transfers. acceptance rate is like 22% which is still lower than other UC freshman admits

I got in for my masters and people had the nerve to say the same thing lmao. I was like the program itself is significantly smaller in capacity and is extremely difficult to get into😭

This always made me laugh bc I ended up being 1/16 students accepted to the honors program in my major and graduated with honors while they didn’t 💀 they can stay mad

People never take into acc of major impact. On top of that there r also just a handful of transfer students who will get accepted specifically for THAT MAJOR. Let alone have it be a UC

I always think that’s so silly to say… you may have worked really hard to get into Berkeley… but I may have tried really hard for wayyy longer than just after high school cuz I still had to get a good GPA and build up qualifications to get in
