I lived there for since 1971.. Retired in Oct and moved to South East Texas to be near my brother and niece.. Miss it so much.. FYI.. Always have water with you.. You can get dehydrated fast. Don't go through the washes when it rains. Drive around or wait till the water goes down. If you get stuck you could pay a lot of money to be rescued or worse.. Your life. Not trying to scare you just letting you know to be safe. The Saguaros are beautiful when they have blossoms on top. Enjoy your new life!! 💕🙏

Welcome! I recommend Madera Canyon to everyone who loves MT Lemmon. Not much to do in the area but the actual scenery and walks/ hikes themselves are absolutely incredible. About an hour and a half away ( around green valley)!
