Just wanna say I don’t condone what Gaafar Nimeiry did btw. He was a terrible human being and a POS by the end of his rule, and I’m not defending him or his regime. I agreed with some of his earlier leftist/socialist policies, but he eventually became a pro-Arab authoritarian, implemented Sharia law, was responsible for the persecution and oppression of our South Sudanese people, and completely abandoned the politics he started with
