If you work in the freezer it's easy to hide earbuds and the leads usually don't even bother to go inside. Happiest and friendliest folks were long term freezer selectors.

you forgot the part where at the start you're able to just relax listen to music and go at an okay pace but after you're there for 2 months somehow the safety rules have tripled and now there's no music no unnecessary noise and a 30 minute safety inspection that has to be completed every hour while keeping the same Pace you were keeping with none of these safety rules

You know what's even worse? Warehouse job where the only music allowed is from the radio, stuck on one channel, playing the same 5 songs on loop until you dread that one song that sends you off the edge
