Thank god they melt!!! I live in North America and if I paid attention in school, at one time where I live was under a mile of ice. Yup, the climate changes, and because of that, in recent years the planet is 20% greener and agriculture is up 13%.

Mr Curry :
Every human activity generates CO2 emissions. Plants convert CO2 into oxygen. If this was really about concern for our climate, our leaders would be planting more trees and vegetation. Climate Doomerism is about control of human activity.

100% no credibility. We are gonna find that in Nepal a new type of disaster occur related to a major drop of a glacier into a valley creating a one-of-a-kind event. This guy is full of BS.

The Earth is normally a very hot place.
The cycle of hot and cold is about 10,000 years.
Have a nice day.

Mr Curry :
Thankfully I have numbers rather than opinions.🚩The average number of days per year in the U.S. reaching 95°F was ~18% lower during the 60-year period 1961 to 2020 compared to 1901 to 1960. The number of days reaching 100°F and 105°F have also declined since 1895.

Let’s knee jerk blame everything on climate change! I thought you were a scientist! The Nepal mudslide was driven by immediate factors such as extreme rainfall, steep terrain, saturated soil, erosion, and slope instability, all of which can cause landslides without climate change. It is dangerous and scientifically premature to attribute a specific disaster to climate change without a formal attribution study, because doing so can confuse correlation with causation and overlook local factors such as deforestation, road construction, drainage problems, and land-use changes

Lichtman is a historian by training. My undergrad is in History but I went back and picked up a couple of graduate science degrees. He’s regurgitating something he heard or read. He’s no more an expert on climate or geography or glacial hydrology than I am on 14th century poets of sub Saharan Africa.
