A todas las personas que rescatan animales de la calle, quiero dedicarles unas palabras desde lo más profundo del corazón. Ustedes, que no buscan reconocimiento ni aplausos, que simplemente no pueden mirar a otro lado cuando ven dolor, son la muestra más pura de lo que significa la empatía, la compasión y el amor sin condiciones. Son esas manos que se tienden cuando todos los demás pasan de largo, esos ojos que ven el valor en una vida que muchos consideran insignificante, y ese corazón que late con fuerza por aquellos que no pueden pedir ayuda con palabras. Cada animal que rescatan lleva en sus ojos una historia, un pasado que tal vez fue cruel, un miedo que solo el tiempo, la paciencia y el cariño pueden borrar. Y ustedes están ahí, día tras día, curando heridas físicas y emocionales, devolviendo confianza, construyendo con ternura una nueva oportunidad para quienes solo conocieron el abandono. No es fácil lo que hacen: detrás de cada rescate hay esfuerzo, cansancio, impotencia, gastos, decepciones y muchas veces lágrimas silenciosas; pero también hay la satisfacción de ver una vida transformarse, de ver cómo el miedo se convierte en juego, la desconfianza en cariño y la tristeza en gratitud. Gracias por no rendirse, por luchar incluso cuando el mundo parece indiferente, por abrir sus casas, sus corazones y sus manos para salvar vidas que otros desecharon. Gracias por enseñar que el verdadero valor está en ayudar sin esperar nada, en cuidar sin poseer, en amar sin límites. El trabajo que realizan cambia el destino de cada ser rescatado, pero también cambia el mundo un poco cada vez, porque cada vida salvada es una prueba de que todavía existe bondad, todavía existe esperanza, y todavía hay personas que creen que toda vida merece respeto.
