Mohammad Jubair, a Quran Hafiz and student of Patiya Madrasha, was reportedly found dead inside an old grave in Camp 8W on 28 August 2026. According to information shared by the community, Jubair was allegedly killed by an unidentified group before his body was left at the site. The circumstances surrounding his death have not yet been independently verified. Jubair was the son of Mr. Jommolok, a former head Majhi of Camp 4. The incident has left his family and the wider Rohingya community deeply shocked and grieving. Calls for a proper investigation and justice for the deceased are growing. May Allah grant Hf.
