Alligators dont live in Cary. Not saying someone didn't carry one there but they live near coast and as far inland as Lumberton and southeast of Fayetteville.

Years ago they used to sell Baby Alligators in the Gift Shops in Florida. Of course a few months after you got back home to NC it quickly outgrew its little terrarium and was usually just set free in a Lake or River. Don't ask me how I know this 🤣🤣🤣
