(Go for the PREMIUM package if you’re beyond beginner—it’s worth it for trying top-notch gear!) Pro tip: Pick up gear after 3 PM the day before and return it by 10 AM on your last day. Plus, you can easily swap gear during your trip with expert recommendations—I tested two powder boards and a directional twin with Step-Ons! ✔️ Comfy Shuttles to the Slopes @nisekounited runs shuttles all over the village, making it super easy to hop between the main lodge and other base areas. Bonus: if you stay with @mnk.niseko, they provide pickup and drop off from the Hirafu Welcome Center to their lodges and have a shuttle running for daily drop offs to the resort bases. We stayed at the Country Resort and the customer service was seamless. ✔️ Secret Lunch Spot 🍜 @izakaya.boyoso near the base of Konayuki (black run)—sharp left under the Gondola. Cash only, but the ramen, curry, and rice bowls are unbeatable. Don’t miss their 10/10 mulled wine! ✔️ Best Chair for Powder Runs ❄️ The Ace Gondola 4 is a must! Take Ace 3 up, hit the short left run to Ace 4, then go left at the top.
