He said it was Eric that asked for a ride but he did say he saw Eric and NOLAN XAVIER WELLS . 3:00 p.m.: Friend Warren Hudson reported seeing NOLAN near the west tip of the island, laughing and talking near a girl he had met. 4:00 p.m.: The last known photographs of NOLAN on the beach were taken around this time. 4:30 p.m.: His friends left the island because their boat was taking on water and having engine or pump trouble. NOLAN decided to stay behind on the island to return later with another.
