Here's a much more creepy theory. Since leaf-kawas have eternal life, do they have self-healing too? since you literally can't die. And why did Siren eat the villagers when she can just make em all line up and check wether do they have the battery installed. But Siren choose to eat em one, by, one. And Siren did not just eat em raw, Siren throw em into the Miso... Isn't it creepy? And since Siren said that "I'll cage the murderer forever, in the deep dark" does it mean by the Miso? Siren threw the kawas into the Miso and put the cover on. does it mean "deep dark" for Siren? Back to the first theory, if they're literally immortal and they could heal themselves, isn't that unlimited food source for Siren?

spoiler.......... the sirens family managed to get them and locked them both in deep sea as promised by the sirens, for both of them to experience "immortality". they both can't take it and end up "turned off" together last scene showed a 2 battery going down deep into dark ocean

is it just me thats going crazy how they didnt solve the siren's grief? I was waiting for how the main characters were gonna help the siren but they literally didnt do anything and just went back. I kinda felt like that was out of character for them to not wanting to help even with all the harm they did
