Itauma lost. Yesterday everyone saw this fight with the Croatian (Hrgovic) — stopped early, by technical knockout. He was hyped up so much, people were comparing him to Mike Tyson in his youth. His promoter even wanted to arrange a fight with Usyk. But in reality — he’s a young fighter who still has a lot of experience to gain. Before this, he mostly fought “punching bags” — older or non-top-tier opponents he demolished in a couple of rounds. But as soon as he ran into a real, experienced fighter who knows how to endure and manage a fight smartly — everything became clear right away. Hype is one thing, real level is something else entirely.
