I had to Google it to figure out what was going on in the picture cuz it didn't make sense. This is apparently in Australia where two different gauge tracks are crossing each other and one track is electrified so a normal diamond crossing of any type would create a pathway of electricity to the other track that does not have an electric current. You can notice electric wires over the track.

Leave one down it will turn RIGHT OR LEFT, Both up is STRAIGHT TRACK. I have put Track on a LIFT BRIDGE and never seen this but know the turn out is MILES for this SWITCH 🤔

It’s so the main track can still go high speed. The other track is prob 10mph Otherwise it be like 25mph for both tracks
